Paddle MO 2026 Explore Jeff City by River Program
Adventure with us on Thursday, May 21, 2026
Stream Teams United is hosting a one day educational, guided paddle on the Missouri River near Jefferson City, on Thursday, May 21, 2026. This trip is free to attend, but space is limited.
The paddle is specifically for people who will be first time paddlers of the Missouri River. Our experienced crew of river educators will provide everything that is needed for your day including multi-person boat, lifejackets, paddle, and lunch.
The day will begin with check-in at 9:15 AM at Noren Access at Jefferson City (this is the ramp below the Missouri River bridge). We will provide transportation to Marion Access (approximately a 25 minute shuttle). The group will then receive river safety information and will be paired with an experienced paddler or part of the multi-person 10 person canoe, led by an experience river paddling instructor.
The paddle will explore 14 miles of the Missouri River from Marion Bottoms to Noren Access in Jefferson City. Along the way, we will learn about the river and eat lunch during a stop on a sand bar. The paddle will conclude at approximately 3:30 PM, when participants will arrive back at their vehicles.
