Every month community friendly volunteers are meeting to clean-up 9 riverbanks along the Locust Fork River in Blount County.

Monthly on the second Saturday:

9 am Swann Covered Bridge - led by Sam Howell - 1590 Swann Bridge Rd, Cleveland, AL 35049

Directions: Access to the bridge from Hwy 79 is closed. Please get on Hwy 160, and when you get to Nectar, turn north on Joy Rd (also known as Cty Rd 37). Then turn right to Swann Bridge Road.

Monthly on the first Friday:

King's Bend Scenic Overlook Park - led by Jennah Guiley

Bring water, light gloves, a 5 gallon bucket, sturdy shoes, and a playful attitude. A representative from FLFR will supply trash-pickers and bags.
