March 31st Livestaking

Join Mills River Partnership for our final livestaking event of 2026 on Tuesday, March 31st from 12:30-2:30.  We will be planting livestakes (short, rigid sections of native tree species) on the banks of the South Mills River to stabilize the bank and shade the water as they grow.  We'll bring all the tools and materials, just make sure you are dressed for the weather, including footwear that can get muddy.  Bring high boots or waders if you have them in case some volunteers plant some stakes across the stream.  Organizers will send exact meeting location to volunteers who sign up.
