February 14th Livestaking

Join Mills River Partnership for our 2nd Annual Valentines Day livestaking event on Saturday, February 14th from 12:30-3:30.  We will be planting 500 livestakes (short, rigid sections of native tree species) on the streambank to stabilize the bank and shade the water as they grow.  We'll bring all the tools and materials, just make sure you are dressed for the weather, including footwear that can get muddy.  Bring high boots or waders if you have them in case some volunteers plant some stakes from the stream.  Delay due to inclement weather is possible, organizers will confirm closer to the event date along with exact meeting location.
