Join the Huntington Historical Society for an extra special Lunch and Learn with the Walt Whitman Birthplace Association! This months lunch and learn will feature a talk with executive director Caitlin Shea along with a private guided house tour. Lunch will be catered and feature gourmet wraps, salad, and desserts.


The Walt Whitman Birthplace, a New York State Historic Site and Literary Landmark, preserves and shares the legacy of America’s great poet. Located in Whitman’s 1819 birthplace home, the museum hosts cultural and educational programs—including tours, workshops, poetry readings, performances, and its renowned Student Poetry Contest—that celebrate inclusivity, creativity, and the enduring influence of Walt Whitman.
