Join FLFR for this easy-to-moderate hike to Cornelius Falls - a very scenic site on the river that car tourists will never see.

It's a 15-20 minute hike in (downhill), but 25-30 minutes uphill coming out (That is the moderate part).

We’ll eat our brown bag lunches on the sunny rocks at the falls.

It’s a great time of the year to play in the water.

We will meet at 10:30 AM, park our cars, walk down to the falls and be back to the cars between 1:30 - 2:00.

On Friday, expect an email with updates from info@flfral.com

Please don't be late.

There are only two guides and if we start to hike with the group no one will be there to welcome you and show you the path. If you are running a few minutes late please text or call 205-363-4684.

There may be poison ivy and ticks. Long pants over your swimming suit or shorts may help avoid poison ivy. We suggest wearing walking shoes and socks for the hike.

Bring water, lunch or a snack, your bathing suit and a towel, wading shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and your camera - there will be lots of opportunities to take photos to enter FLFR's Art, Photo, Video & Poetry Contest.
